Hyderabad residents demand road repairs at Topkhana, Goshamahal amid traffic chaos

Residents of Hyderabad are facing severe traffic congestion and safety concerns due to the poor condition of a road at Topkhana, leading towards Alaska Goshamahal. The road was dug up a month ago for civil works, but despite the completion of the work weeks ago, it remains in poor condition. This has led to vehicles using the same lane in both directions, causing significant chaos. Lokendra Singh, a concerned resident, has highlighted the issue and urged the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to address it promptly. The road serves as a major route for traffic from several areas, including Nampally, Asif Nagar, and Abids, and experiences heavy congestion during peak hours. GHMC has acknowledged the issue on social media and stated that the area engineering team has been informed to inspect the site and update the status of the problem. Residents are now waiting for a swift resolution to the traffic and safety concerns on this important stretch of road.
