According to water board officials, during routine supply operations, a water leak was detected on a 350 mm diameter pipeline near the bustling Moazzam Jahi Market. The water leakage spot falls under the jurisdiction of Operation and Maintenance division No. 4, Red Hills.

After receiving the information, the senior officials from Red Hills division reached the spot and assessed the situation. As the road acts as a connector between the two arterial roads, the officials decided to immediately contain the leakage to ensure uninterrupted water supply to Malakunta Road, Risala Abdullah, Osmangunj, Shankar Bagh, and Topkhana areas.

Since the leakage spot was in the middle of the road, the officials from the water board coordinated closely with traffic police authorities to carry out the repair work efficiently without causing any major traffic disruptions.

HMWSSB Managing Director Ashok Reddy commended the officials and staff involved in the successful restoration of the pipeline and water supply. He praised the entire team for their dedicated efforts.
