HYDRAA receives 71 complaints in Prajavani programme
The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) received 71 complaints during its Prajavani program, with most related to encroachments on parks and roads. HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath directed officials to immediately remove walls built around residential colonies that blocked public access to roads, and instructed officials to strictly adhere to approved layout plans for road maintenance. Officials used Google Maps to analyze historical satellite imagery and compared current land use with conditions a decade ago, providing transparent resolution processes. Residents of Abdullahpurmet reported encroachments on their plots by Sammireddy Bal Reddy, urging HYDRAA to clear an illegally built farmhouse. Landowners in Ghatkesar mandal accused Nalla Malla Reddy, an educationalist, of encroaching on their plots since 2010, with one complainant citing 23 cases against Reddy published in the AP Gazette.11:55 AM Feb 04, 2025 IST
