Ganja smuggled from Araku to Hyderabad seized, 9 held in Secunderabad
Hyderabad police conducted a drug bust at the James Street Railway Station parking area, leading to the arrest of seven individuals involved in the illegal ganja trade. The operation resulted in the seizure of 8 kilograms of ganja worth Rs. 2,40,000. The main accused, Tamata Sanjay and his cousin Tamata Pavan, are known rowdy sheeters and allegedly orchestrated the transportation of ganja from Araku to Hyderabad. The police also apprehended two ganja consumers, Harshavardhan and Dikshit Sai Kumar. An additional suspect, Subba Rao, the main ganja supplier, is still at large. The investigation revealed that the accused had been frequently bringing ganja from Araku and distributing it to local consumers. The operation was carried out under the leadership of Inspector K.
