Devara actor Saif Ali Khan attacked in attempted burglary; Jr. NTR expresses concern
Hyderabad: Actor Jr. NTR has expressed his shock and concern following the attack on Devara actor Saif Ali Khan on January 16, 2025. In a post on X, Jr. NTR wrote, “Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif, sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health.”
The attack occurred early in the morning when Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times by an unidentified assailant. Two of the wounds were deep, one of which was dangerously close to his spine.
Saif was quickly rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. A team of doctors, led by Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, is performing surgery. Mumbai police are actively investigating the incident, looking into potential leads and the involvement of others in the crime.
Further updates on Saif Ali Khan’s condition are awaited as he continues to receive medical care.
Kareena Kapoor Khan Shares Statement
Following the attack, Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, shared an update through her team. The statement confirmed that Kareena and their children are safe and unharmed. It also provided details about the incident, revealing that the attack occurred during an attempted burglary at their residence.
The statement read, "Saif had an injury on his arm, for which he is in the hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine. We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate further as the Police are already doing their due investigations. Thank you all for your concern."
