ACB nabs senior assistant at Koti ENT Govt Hospital for bribery
On January 17, 2025, a Senior Assistant at the ENT Government Hospital in Hyderabad, R. Santhosh Tiwari, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 3,000 from a complainant in exchange for processing their retirement benefits. Tiwari had initially demanded Rs. 20,000 and had already accepted Rs. 17,000. He was caught red-handed while accepting the remaining bribe. The ACB recovered the bribe money and arrested Tiwari, who will be presented in court. The ACB encourages the public to report any instances of bribery by public servants through their toll-free number 1064, assuring confidentiality.hyderabad
