Telangana CM Revanth approves construction of 7 new flyovers to ease Hyderabad traffic
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has approved the construction of seven new flyovers in Hyderabad to tackle traffic congestion. He also instructed officials to develop the city's Outer Ring Road to international standards and gather data on basic amenities to ensure they meet current and future needs. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for traffic management solutions and discussed the possibility of utilizing Google's technology. In a separate event, Revanth Reddy inaugurated Microsoft's new campus in Hyderabad, marking the company's 25th anniversary in the city. The new facility will house 2,500 additional employees and represents Microsoft's commitment to its largest R&D hub outside the U.S. The company announced plans to expand its operations in Telangana, creating 4,800 new jobs and investing Rs. 15,000 crore in hyperscale AI data centers. The Chief Minister highlighted Hyderabad's position as a technology powerhouse and emphasized the positive impact of Microsoft's presence on the city's growth.
