DCA seizes Mephentermine injections sold illegally to gym-goers in Manikonda Jagir

In a joint operation, the Telangana Drugs Control Administration and the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau raided an unlicensed premises in Manikonda Jagir and seized 18 vials of Mephentermine Sulphate injections. This drug, a cardiac stimulant legally used to treat low blood pressure, was being illegally sold to gym-goers for bodybuilding purposes. Mephentermine misuse can lead to serious health risks like cardiovascular problems and dependence. The raid was led by DCA officers and the Director General of the DCA urged the public to report any suspected illegal drug activities.
