On January 14th, a 24-year-old man, Mahesh Kumar, lost his life on his birthday after his scooter crashed into an electric pole, likely due to excessive speed. In Ranga Reddy, a student was killed and another critically injured on December 28th when their motorcycle collided with a divider, possibly due to speeding. On December 27th, two men died in a similar accident, with speeding and alcohol consumption believed to be contributing factors.
