HYDRAA mandates disclosure of pending court cases in public grievance complaints
On February 24, 2025, Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) issued a notice urging citizens attending its public grievance sessions to disclose any pending Civil or High Court cases related to their complaints. Failure to do so will result in action against them. HYDRAA clarified that they will not address personal disputes or individual conflicts, focusing solely on issues related to government land or land encroachments intended for public use. During the recent grievance session, several individuals raised concerns about land encroachment for public purposes. The Indira Park Morning Walkers Association reported encroachment on Indira Park, with businessmen misusing donated land meant for public use. Residents of Ahmedguda village in Keesara Mandal complained about construction on land designated for a burial ground and a nala buffer zone. Villagers in Antyapalli village in Shamirpet Mandal expressed concerns about the encroachment on Chettukunta Cheruvu (lake). Residents of Bahudurpalli in Dundigal Municipality raised an issue regarding the development of plots on land originally allocated for public amenities in the Green Hills Housing Colony.11:18 AM Feb 25, 2025 IST
