Man dies, another injured in car-truck collision on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road
Hyderabad has witnessed a series of fatal road accidents in recent weeks. On January 31st, a car crashed into a truck on the Outer Ring Road, killing 50-year-old Rajalingu and injuring another person. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. In a separate incident on January 28th, 24-year-old vegetable vendor Mahesh Kumar died in a motorcycle accident while on his way to meet friends. The accident is believed to have been caused by excessive speed. On December 28th, a student, Satwik, was killed and his companion critically injured after their motorcycle collided with a divider on the Kokapet Service Road. Overspeeding is suspected to be the cause. These accidents follow another fatal crash on December 27th where two individuals died after their motorcycle crashed into a divider in Madhapur. Excessive speed and possible alcohol consumption are being investigated as contributing factors.
