Begumpet: St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, on November 29, 2024, hosted its highly anticipated annual fest, YUVAFLARE 2024, bringing together students from colleges across the city for a dynamic celebration of talent, creativity, and diversity.

The event was inaugurated by renowned Indian rapper, songwriter, and actor Rahul Kumar Velpula, popularly known as Roll Rida.

The highlight of the inaugural ceremony was the unfurling of the YUVAFLARE flag by Roll Rida, Principal Dr. Uma Joseph, Vice-Principal Dr. Sr. Shirley, and event coordinators Mini and Indu Bhargavi Fernandez. The ceremony was accompanied by a stirring performance of the YUVAFLARE anthem by the college choir, Nightingales.

In his address to the student community, Roll Rida shared insights from his rap journey and enthralled the audience with live performances of his hit tracks, including Patang, Kakinada Kaja, and Arupu. The students responded enthusiastically, tapping to his beats and creating an electric atmosphere.

YUVAFLARE 2024 event Begumpet

Speaking on the occasion, Roll Rida encouraged the students to never let their spirits down, no matter the challenges they face. He also highlighted the importance of being grateful to teachers, who always have their best interests at heart.

The festival officially commenced with a declaration by Principal Dr. Uma Joseph, followed by a series of cultural events and competitions. Students showcased their talents in a variety of contests, including Battle of Bands, Comicon, Fusion Dance Competition, and Yuva Idol.

Hyderabad college events

Adding to the festive spirit, vibrant stalls featuring food carts and creative craft displays offered a lively experience for attendees. Approximately 200 students from 20 colleges in the twin cities participated in the fest.

The day ended with a valedictory ceremony, where certificates and prizes were awarded to winners and participants, making a successful and memorable end to YUVAFLARE 2024.
