Young man dies while chasing dog in Chandanagar
Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a young man reportedly fell from the third floor of the VV Pride Hotel while chasing a dog. This incident occurred within the Chandanagar Police Station limits on Sunday and came to light on October 22, 2024.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Uday, a resident of Ashok Nagar in Ramachandrapuram, originally from Tenali, who had gone to the hotel with friends.
According to reports, Uday chased a dog that had entered the balcony of their third-floor room. While attempting to follow the dog, he slipped and fell from the window, resulting in severe injuries.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. His body has been transferred to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The Chandanagar police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. CCTV footage showing the events leading up to the fall has been obtained as part of the investigation, and authorities are continuing to look into the matter.
