Hyderabad: The Department of Communication at the University of Hyderabad has announced a Photography Contest to mark World Photography Day 2025. The contest is open to all photography enthusiasts and aims to encourage creative visual storytelling.

There is no entry fee. The contest will conclude with a photo exhibition held on the university campus from August 19 to 23, 2025. The event will also feature talks by prominent figures in photography and visual media on August 19 and 20.

Participants must submit their entries by August 10, 2025, 5:00 PM. Awards include three winner prizes, three merit certificates, and participation certificates for all eligible entrants.
