Hyderabad: Woman motorist run over by RTC bus in Tarnaka

Hyderabad: A woman died tragically after being hit by an RTC bus in a road accident in Tarnaka on Saturday. The woman came under the wheels of the bus after she fell from the scooter she was riding on.

She was riding on her scooter on the Tarnaka-Habsiguda route when the transport bus suddenly hit her and she was crushed by the rear wheels of the heavy vehicle. She succumbed to the critical injuries.

The police rushed to the spot after receiving an alert from the passersby and arrested the accused bus driver for questioning. The police first cleared the traffic chaos caused in the area by the tragic accident. The police then sent the body to a government hospital for postmortem.

They have registered a case and are examining the CCTV footage of the spot to understand how the accident happened. The details about the deceased woman are not known yet.
