Woman’s body found in trolley bag near Bachupally; Murder suspected

Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified woman was found stuffed inside a trolley bag near Vijaya Durga Owner's Association Colony in Bachupally on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Police suspect murder and have launched an investigation.

Residents alerted the police after spotting a suspicious trolley bag left in the bushes near a compound wall. When officers from Bachupally Police Station opened the bag, they discovered the woman’s body in a decomposed state.

The woman is believed to be between 25 and 35 years old. Police say she may have been killed elsewhere and the body dumped at the location to avoid detection.

“We suspect she was murdered at a different location. The body was likely dumped here sometime ago,” said Police. A Clues team and a dog squad were brought to the scene to collect forensic evidence. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to help identify the victim and any possible suspects. The body has been sent to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy. Police are working to determine where the crime took place and who is responsible.
