Medchal: Wife elopes with boyfriend whom she met on social media, husband lodges complaint

Medchal: A shocking incident has come to light in the Pet Basheerabad police station area of Medchal district, where a married woman left her husband and eloped with a man she had met on social media. The incident came to light weeks later.

Jayaraj, the husband of 31-year-old Sukanya, filed a missing complaint with the local police on February 5, 2025 in which he stated that his wife had gone missing. Sukanya had allegedly befriended a 22-year-old man named Gopi on a social media platform. Over time, their friendship grew into a romantic relationship, and they decided to run away together.

As Jayaraj was desperately searching for his missing wife, he spotted Sukanya with her lover going on a bike. He followed them and intercepted them near Medchal Oxygen Park. The woman and her boyfriend abandoned their motorcycle and boarded a moving bus fearing getting caught by the complainant.
