Reacting to the arrest, BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) condemned the action, calling it politically motivated. “The arrest of Kaushik Reddy at Shamshabad Airport is unacceptable. He has consistently raised questions about the Chief Minister’s actions, the corruption of ministers, and the misdeeds of Congress leaders. These charges are being filed with the intent to silence him,” KTR said.

He accused the Congress government of targeting the MLA for his outspoken criticism over the past 18 months. “This harassment has been building for months. Filing false cases to intimidate political opponents will not break our resolve,” he added.

KTR also criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of misusing state machinery to suppress dissent. “The so-called ‘Indiramma Rajyam’ is beginning to resemble a state of emergency. Instead of delivering on promises, the government is resorting to diversionary tactics,” he said.

He demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Kaushik Reddy. “We trust the judiciary. These cases won’t stand in court. BRS will continue to fight back and stand with the people,” KTR concluded.
