Vikarabad village youth bags Rs 2 crore salary package from Amazon

Hyderabad: A young man from Tunkimetla village in Bomraspet mandal of Kodangal constituency in Vikarabad district has secured an annual salary package of Rs 2 crores from Amazon, the world’s largest online retailer.

The youth, Syed Arbaaz Qureshi (26), is the son of Syed Yasin Qureshi, the state Excise Enforcement Joint Commissioner. Syed Arbaaz has been appointed as an Applied Scientist at Amazon in the United States, with an annual salary of Rs 2 crore.

Syed Arbaaz Qureshi completed his B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Patna in 2019. During his final year, he spent three months researching machine learning with Guyal Dias, a leading expert from France. He then went on to work for two years at Microsoft Research in Bangalore, before pursuing a Master’s in AI and Machine Learning at the University of Massachusetts (UMASS), USA, graduating in 2023.

His remarkable talent led to an internship offer from tech giant Google. Syed Arbaaz Qureshi’s father expressed immense pride and joy over his son’s exceptional achievement.
