Releasing a statement, the VHP said how can we allow the match with the visiting Bangladesh team when Hindu minorities are being targetted in their country. They also demanded the state government to revoke the permission for the T20 match between India and Bangladesh in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad police have deployed over 2,000 personnel in and around the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium which has a seating capacity of nearly 40,000. In addition to this, they have also installed over 300 CCTV cameras which will be managed and monitored continuously by the joint command and control room.

As Saturday is a public holiday owing to the Dasara festival, the T20 match is expected to draw a huge crowd of cricket fans. With unexpected showers in the city on Friday, it is speculated that the rain may play a spoilsport in the T20 finals.

The Men in Blue team is hoping to complete the whitewash in the T20 series when they play against Bangladesh on Saturday. Team India managed to beat the visitors in the first two T20 matches held in Gwalior and Delhi.
