UoH to conduct walk-in interview for music teacher post on July 11, 2025
Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) Campus School is inviting applications for the position of Primary Teacher (PRT) in Music on a contract basis. The tenure of the post is for approximately three months.
Interested candidates are required to attend a walk-in interview on July 11, 2025, at the UoH Campus School premises. Applicants should bring a filled-in application form and all original certificates in support of their qualifications and experience.

Meanwhile, Pranav S, a final-year student of the Integrated MA in Economics at the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, has been selected for the Future Research Talent (FRT) program at the Australian National University (ANU), Canberra. This selective program promotes research collaboration between leading Indian institutions and ANU.
Currently in Canberra, Pranav is conducting an 11-week research project at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. His project, titled "Early Childhood Shocks and Their Impact on Healthy Ageing," explores how early-life adversities, including caste discrimination, natural disasters, and policy interventions, affect long-term health outcomes in India. He is working under the guidance of Dr. My Tran and Dr. Jinhu Li, both experts in public health and epidemiology.
The FRT scholarship provides AUD 8,500 to support his research and living expenses during his stay. During his visit, Pranav met Gopal Baglay, High Commissioner of India to Australia, and Professor Chennupati Jagadish, President of the Australian Academy of Science and IoE Chair Professor at UoH. These interactions offered insights into India’s expanding role in global research and academic exchange.
