University of Hyderabad opens PG and M.Tech admissions for 2025–26
Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad, a Central University established in 1974 by an Act of Parliament, has released its admission notification for various Postgraduate (PG) and M.Tech programs for the academic year 2025–26.
Admissions to select programs will be based on CUET (PG) 2025 scores followed by an interview. These include MPA (Dance), MPA (Music), MFA/MVA in Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Art History & Visual Studies, MBA in Healthcare & Hospital Management, MBA in Business Analytics, MPA (Theatre Arts), and MSc in Neural and Cognitive Science. The last date to apply for these programs is June 9, 2025.
All other PG programs offered by the university will admit students through CUET (PG) 2025 alone, without the interview component. For the M.Tech in Integrated Circuit Technology (ICT) and M.Tech in Microelectronics & VLSI Design (MVLSI), admission will be based on GATE scores. The deadline to apply for these programs is June 30, 2025.
M.Tech programs in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Bioinformatics will be filled through centralized counselling via CCMT 2025. The application schedule for these will follow the CCMT timeline.
The MSc in Biotechnology program will admit students based on the GAT-B 2025 examination. The schedule for this program will be released after the announcement of the qualifying exam results. Similarly, admission to the MCA program will be through NIMCET 2025, with the schedule to be announced in due course.
