Foreign National arrested in Hyderabad prostitution racket
Tarnaka: North Zone task force busted a prostitution racket and arrested a Ugandan national on Sunday.
Based on credible information regarding prostitution, the sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad City, along with Osmania University Police and Woman Staff conducted a raid on a house at Nagarjuna Nagar and apprehended a organizer.
The accused has been identified as 42-year-old Nayebare Doreen, a Ugandan National. The police have also rescued a 22-year-old Ugandan national and arrested a customer.
Accused used online app to lure customers
According to the police, the accused Nayebare Doreen is a Ugandan national. Four months ago, she rented a house in Nagarjuna Nagar, Tarnaka, Hyderabad and has been running a prostitution house with the assistance of another Ugandan national. She uploaded her cell number on ‘Locanto’ online services, so interested customers to call. Then they used to send location of Secunderabad to mislead them, then Nagarjuna Colony, before revealing the real brothel location. Based on credible information about brothel activities, efforts were made to bust this operation.
The apprehension was carried out by K.Saidulu, Inspector of Police, SIs Srinivasulu Dasu, P. Gnanadeep, C.Raghavender Reddy of the North Zone Task Force, and N.Rajender, Inspector of Osmania University police station.
