Hyderabad: Banjara Hills police arrested two individuals after a video went viral on social media showing them traveling in an open-top jeep while recklessly brandishing a firearm. The incident, which took place near Sarvi Hotel on Road No. 1, Banjara Hills, caused public nuisance.

The arrested individuals have been identified as 21-year-old Afeezuddin, a resident of Sanath Nagar, and the driver of the jeep. Police seized the air rifle involved in the incident.

Afeezuddin, a videographer by profession, used the air rifle to create a social media reel, which depicted him traveling in the open jeep at night while holding the weapon. This act violated legal regulations under the Arms Act.

The public has been urged not to engage in such practices, as they can lead to legal consequences. A case has been registered at Banjara Hills police station.
