The incident occurred when the lorry, reportedly driving at high speed, hit the bike as it was traveling from Langar House towards Falaknuma. Witnesses gathered at the scene, with many expressing their grief over the tragic accident.

The driver of the lorry is said to have been driving rashly, which led to the collision.

Separate Fatalities in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy

In another tragic incident, a 24-year-old man lost his life in a road accident on his birthday late Tuesday night, January 14, at Malakpet.

The deceased, Mahesh Kumar, was a vegetable vendor from Saidabad. After celebrating his birthday with his family, he left home to meet friends at Nalgonda Crossroads.

Reports say Mahesh lost control of his scooter near the Officer’s Mess function hall, possibly due to high speed. The vehicle skidded and crashed into an electric pole. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Mahesh was declared dead on arrival. Police suspect speed was a factor in the crash.

In a separate incident, a student was killed and another seriously injured after their motorcycle collided with a divider on the Kokapet Service Road in Ranga Reddy on December 28, 2024.

The deceased, Satwik, was traveling with a companion when the motorcycle crashed into the divider. Initial reports suggest overspeeding may have caused the accident. Satwik died from the impact, while his companion remains in critical condition.

This follows a similar accident on December 27, 2024, when two men, Raghu Babu and Akansh, were killed after their motorcycle skidded off the road and crashed into a divider in the Madhapur police station limits. Excessive speed and possibly alcohol consumption are believed to have contributed to the crash. One victim died at the scene, while the other succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
