According to the FIR report, the incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on the same day. The three passengers have been identified as Afjal Ur Rahman, Shaik Shahed Pasha, and Ayaz Ahmad Shaik, who gained access to the International Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) by presenting an e-ticket for a flight from Hyderabad to Abu Dhabi on Etihad Airways Flight EY 353 (Itinerary No. 7887525399707).

However, when the tickets were verified by Etihad Airways staff at the check-in counter, it was found that none of the three passengers were listed on the flight scheduled for November 11, 2024. Upon questioning, the passengers claimed that the e-tickets had been issued to them by an agent in Abu Dhabi.

The FIR further stated that the passengers had used manipulated or fake tickets to gain entry into the airport through wrongful means. Following this, they were handed over to the police for further investigation.

A case has been registered under Sections 318(4), 336(3), and 340(2) of the BNS, and the investigation has been entrusted to D. Appa Rao, SIP.
