Ganesh Immersion: Traffic Restrictions in Cyberabad

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police have announced traffic restrictions from September 4 to 6 in view of Ganesh idol immersion across various lakes and tanks. IDL Tank Road at Kukatpally will remain closed for all vehicles except immersion processions, with traffic diverted at IDL Tank Entrance towards JNTU, Forum Mall and Hitech City. Vehicles from Hitech City and Madhapur heading to Kukatpally Y Junction will be diverted through 4th Phase KPHB Road No. 1 and Remedy Hospital U-turn.

At Pragathi Nagar Lake, the road from Srinivasa Steel to Three Monkey Junction will remain closed. Vehicles from Gandimaisamma and Pragathi Nagar will be diverted via Nizampet Village and 191 SY Colony Road. Those from JNTU heading towards Pragathi Nagar Colony will be rerouted via Tulasinagar, Konaseema Hotel Road and Nizampet Village.

Restrictions at RC Puram and Jeedimetla

Traffic police have also diverted heavy vehicles from Patancheru and Tellapur at BHEL Junction towards Tara Nagar Market and Gopanpally to ease congestion at Gangaram Lake. Similarly, at Kattamaisamma tank near Jeedimetla, heavy vehicles from Gandimaisamma X Road towards Balanagar will be diverted at Bahadurpally Junction with alternative routes via JETL and Dundigal.

The police urged commuters to follow diversions for smooth traffic flow during the immersion process.
