Watchtowers, CCTV cameras and public address systems are set up. RTC is arranging diversions and adjusting signals. Special focus is on the Khairatabad Ganesh, where the 69-foot idol will be immersed on September 6 at NTR Marg. About 80 traffic personnel are deployed for the 2.5 km stretch from Khairatabad to Hussain Sagar.
