Traffic diversions announced in Uppal for IPL match on March 27, 2025

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police have announced traffic diversions in the Uppal Traffic Police jurisdiction in light of the IPL 2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants, which is scheduled to take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, on March 27, 2025.

The diversions will be in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 11:50 p.m. to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimize inconvenience to the public. Heavy vehicles, including lorries, dumpers, earth movers, water tankers, RMC trucks, and all other types of trucks, will be diverted during this time.

For vehicles approaching Uppal from Chengicherla, Boduppal, and Peerzadiguda, the diversion point will be opposite the Toyota Showroom on HMDA Bhagyanagar Road. Vehicles will be diverted through HMDA Bhagyanagar Layout, heading towards Nagole. Similarly, for vehicles coming from LB Nagar to Nagole and Uppal, the diversion point will be under the Nagole Metro Station U-turn. Traffic will be redirected via Nagole Metro Station, HMDA Layout, Boduppal, and Chengicherla X Road.

Traffic approaching Uppal from Tarnaka will be diverted at the Habsiguda X Road, with vehicles redirected towards Nacharam IOCL and Cherlapally. Lastly, for vehicles coming from Ramanthapur to Uppal, the diversion point will be at Street No. 8. These vehicles will be diverted via Habsiguda, Metro Pilar 972 U-Turn, and then towards Uppal X Road.

Commuters are advised to take note of the diversions and adjust their travel plans accordingly. The public is urged to cooperate with the Rachakonda Traffic Police to ensure the smooth conduct of traffic during the match.
