A team of officers, including mediators from the Nampally Tahsildar’s office and Clues Team members, were immediately dispatched to the location. The police set up surveillance and positioned themselves near the restaurant. At 7:15 PM, Surya’s vehicle, a Tata Scorpio, was intercepted at a distance from the restaurant.

Upon questioning, Surya initially denied any wrongdoing but later admitted to possessing OG Weed and Ecstasy pills in his car. He led the officers to the vehicle’s dashboard, where they discovered two ziplock bags containing the drugs. Surya also revealed a hidden parcel inside a pair of women’s sandals, which contained Cocaine.

In his confession, Surya revealed that he had been involved in drug trafficking for several years. He admitted to regularly consuming Cocaine with friends at various pubs in Hyderabad, including Prism Pub, Farm Pub, Block 22, and Bird Box. Surya also disclosed his connections to drug suppliers, including Nigerians from Delhi and Bangalore. He confessed to purchasing large quantities of Cocaine and Ecstasy from these suppliers and selling the drugs to local customers.

Surya further revealed that he had made significant payments for drugs in recent months. On June 18, 2025, he transferred Rs. 1,39,000 to a Nigerian supplier named Nick, in exchange for 20 grams of Cocaine, 2 grams of MDMA, and six Ecstasy pills. On July 4, 2025, Surya sent Rs. 80,000 for another batch of Cocaine. The drugs were delivered via Shree Maruthi Courier.
