Tilting pole near Sattana Galli, Mustaidpura; Locals urge immediate action
Hyderabad: A BSNL pole near the entrance of a lane in Sattana Galli, Mustaidpura, Karwan Road, is reportedly leaning dangerously and could fall at any moment, posing a serious risk to residents and commuters. Local residents have raised urgent concerns about the situation, calling on BSNL officials, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), and TGSPDCL to take immediate action before an accident or injury occurs.
A local X user first raised the issue, Shaandaar Hyderabad (@swachhhyd), who posted, "Old @bsnl_care @BSNLCorporate pole is about to fall on the entrance of a lane. Need your attention @tgspdcl @GHMCOnline door number 13-2-205 Sattana Galli entrance Mustaidpura Karwan Rd."

In response, GHMC's official handle acknowledged the concern and assured the public, saying, "Dear citizen, Your concern is noted and has been informed to the EESL Zonal Incharge @EESL_India @EESL_KBZstlight @EESL_khtbdzone, who is responsible for maintaining streetlights. We will update the status soon."

Shaandaar further expressed the gravity of the situation in a conversation with Hyderabad Mail, highlighting that this is not an isolated case. "Many poles across the city are in a similar condition, and authorities need to pay attention to these issues before something serious happens," he said.
Earlier, similar tilting poles were observed in Upperpally, Nizampet, and near Lakdikapul Metro, sparking concerns about public safety. Locals are now calling for a thorough inspection of such poles throughout the city to prevent any accidents or injuries.
