Prabhas’s The Raja Saab teaser to release June 16, film hits theatres December 5
Hyderabad: The much-anticipated teaser of the film The Raja Saab will be released on June 16 at 10:52 a.m., with the film set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 5. The announcement was made by actor Prabhas, popularly known as the "Rebel Star," via his official Instagram account.

The Raja Saab is a Telugu-language romantic comedy horror film written and directed by Maruthi, and produced by People Media Factory. The film features Prabhas in a dual role, alongside Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan (marking her Telugu debut), and Riddhi Kumar.
The film was officially announced in January 2024, although shooting began in October 2022 and continued in phases. It was originally scheduled for release on April 10, 2025, but was postponed due to pending post-production work.
The story follows a young man who turns to his ancestral property in a bid to overcome a financial crisis. The supporting cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Murali Sharma, Anupam Kher, Zarina Wahab, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam, Yogi Babu, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Jisshu Sengupta. Actor Nayanthara will make a special appearance in a song.
The film’s music is composed by Thaman S, with cinematography by Karthik Palani and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. With an estimated budget of ₹300–350 crore, the project is one of the biggest in Telugu cinema. Before finalizing the cast, several actresses including Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela were considered for the lead roles.
