Telugu hit Thandel to premiere in Hindi on Sony Max this Sunday

Hyderabad: The Telugu blockbuster Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is set to make its Hindi television premiere this Sunday, June 15, on Sony Max.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu under the Geetha Arts banner, Thandel is a romantic action thriller inspired by a real-life incident from 2018, where a fisherman from Srikakulam was captured by Pakistani forces in international waters.

The film released in theatres on February 7, 2025, and was well received for its strong performances, striking visuals, and impactful storytelling. It went on to gross over ₹100 crore worldwide, becoming one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of the year.

Thandel features the popular on-screen pairing of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, who previously starred together in the 2021 film Love Story. Filming took place across Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and Udupi, capturing the coastal setting central to the story.

The music, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, includes four main songs and two additional tracks in the extended soundtrack. Hindi-speaking audiences now have the chance to experience Thandel from their homes. Don’t miss its Hindi television premiere this Sunday on Sony Max.
