Kanthamma, who was accompanying her, alerted conductor Raj Kumar and driver Venugopal. The crew quickly stopped the bus, helped passengers disembark, and with Kanthamma’s assistance, safely delivered the baby girl on board. A 108 ambulance later transported the mother and newborn to a local government hospital.

TGSRTC Managing Director V.C. Sajjanar, along with senior officials, felicitated conductor Raj Kumar, driver Venugopal, and ASHA worker Kanthamma at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad for their quick response and support during the emergency. Sajjanar commended their dedication and humanity in handling the situation.
