TGRERA suspends Shrivari Constructions' project in Gandipet after buyer complaints

Hyderabad: The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA) has taken regulatory action against the real estate project “Shrivari’s Brundavanam,” being developed by Shrivari Constructions, represented by its proprietor P. Uma Devi, W/o Late Narayana Raju. The project is located at Padmashri Hills, Bandlaguda Jagir Municipality, Gandipet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, and is registered with TGRERA under number P02400006566.

The action follows multiple complaints filed by allottees alleging that the promoter failed to meet possession deadlines despite receiving substantial payments. The project, consisting of 80 flats, is being developed in joint collaboration with landowners on an equal-share basis. According to agreements of sale signed with individual buyers, possession was to be delivered by February 2023 and May 2024. However, construction remains incomplete, and possession has not been handed over.

After conducting preliminary adjudication, TGRERA passed interim orders in Complaint Case No. 1/2025 and related cases dated June 23, 2025. Exercising powers under Section 7(3) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the Authority has placed the project under abeyance.

Shrivari Constructions has been restrained from marketing, advertising, booking, offering for sale, selling, or entering into any agreements related to units in the project until further orders are issued. Further, the Authority has directed the Sub-Registrar, Gandipet, Ranga Reddy District, not to entertain any registration of sale transactions pertaining to the project until further instructions.

In light of these developments, the public has been strictly cautioned against entering into any transactions or agreements related to the “Shrivari’s Brundavanam” project until further notice.
