TGPSC Group 2 candidates demand faster medical verification and postings

Hyderabad: Candidates selected for Group 2 conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission have staged protests at the TGPSC office, demanding the completion of the process without delay.

The selected candidates urged the commission to expedite medical verification and release the final posting list. “Despite the authorities issuing the notification in 2022, conducting the exam in 2024, and declaring the results in March 2025, the recruitment process remains incomplete even after three years,” said a candidate.

As the court directed the government to conduct the Local Body election and set a deadline of September 30. Protesters showed their frustration with the long delay. They worry that the enforcement of the Local Body Election Code could lead to more setbacks. "We have waited long enough. The medical verification and posting process should be completed immediately," said a candidate.

The aspirants demanded that appointment orders be issued soon, to avoid additional delays due to election regulations. TGPSC officials reportedly assured that the process is being prioritized.
