Quality river sand now available at fixed prices in Hyderabad sand bazaars

Hyderabad: The Telangana Mineral Development Corporation (TGMDC) has established four Sand Bazaars in and around Hyderabad to provide convenient access to river sand for individual consumers, builders, and contractors. These Bazaars are fully operational and stocked with both fine and coarse sand to meet local demand.

The Sand Bazaars are located at Vattinagulapally in Gandipet mandal of Rangareddy district, Abdullapurmet in Hayatnagar mandal of Rangareddy district, Bowrampet in Dundigal mandal of Medchal district, and Adibatla in Ibrahimpatnam mandal of Rangareddy district. Fine sand is being sold at ₹1,800 per unit, while coarse sand is available at ₹1,600 per unit.

To streamline the process, TGMDC has enabled online booking through its Sand Sale Management & Monitoring System (SSMMS) portal, which can be accessed at https://sand.telangana.gov.in/TGSandBazaarPortal/Masters/Home.aspx.
