TGFDC extends deadline for Bathukamma filmmakers competition to October 5

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Film Development Corporation Limited (TGFDC) has extended the last date for submission of entries to the Bathukamma Young Filmmakers Challengers Competition till October 5, 2025.

TGFDC managing director Priyanka, IAS, said the response so far has been highly encouraging. She added that the extension will give more young filmmakers an opportunity to take part.

Competition open to filmmakers under 40 years

The competition is open to aspiring filmmakers under the age of 40 years. Priyanka appealed to youth to make use of the extended deadline and ensure timely submission of entries.
