Telangana TET 2025 results out; Over 30,000 qualify in paper II - Download scorecards now

Hyderabad: The results of the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) have been released, today, on June 22, 2025. Education Department Secretary Yogita Rana announced the results at the Secretariat. The online examinations were conducted between June 18 and June 30.

The State Government of Telangana had issued a notification on April 11, 2025, for conducting the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TGTET-June-2025). The exams were held in online mode as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) across sixteen sessions. A total of 1,83,653 candidates applied for the examination.

Paper I was conducted in six sessions in seven languages: Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Bengali. Paper II was conducted in ten sessions in seven languages: Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Sanskrit, with subject specialisations in Mathematics and Science or Social Studies.

In Paper I, 47,224 candidates appeared and 29,043 qualified, registering a pass percentage of 61.50. In Paper II, under the Mathematics and Science category, 48,998 candidates appeared and 17,574 qualified, with a pass percentage of 35.87. In the Social Studies category, 41,207 candidates appeared and 13,075 qualified, with a pass percentage of 31.73.

Overall, 90,205 candidates appeared for Paper II, and 30,649 qualified, recording an overall pass percentage of 33.98. The results are available for download from July 22, 2025, at https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in.
