Applications open for UG programs at Telangana Govt. Women’s Residential College, Shamirpet

Hyderabad: Dr. Ishrath, Principal of Telangana Government Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Shamirpet, on June 16, 2025, has invited applications from eligible women candidates for admission into various undergraduate courses for the academic year 2025–26.

Women who have completed Intermediate and come from families with an annual income below ₹1.50 lakh (rural) or ₹2 lakh (urban) are eligible to apply.

The college offers undergraduate programs including B.Com (Computer Applications), B.Com (Business Analytics), B.Sc. (Data Science), and B.Sc. (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), among others.

The institution provides free textbooks, notebooks, uniforms, blankets, shoes, and personal care items. Students receive three nutritious meals and snacks daily, along with round-the-clock medical care. Facilities also include NCC, NSS, well-equipped laboratories, a library, career guidance, and placement support with training in the final year.

The last date to submit applications is June 23, 2025. Dr. Ishrath urged eligible candidates to make use of the opportunity provided by the government. This announcement was issued by the Special Commissioner, Information & Public Relations Department, Hyderabad.
