Telangana MBBS student dies in Vietnam road accident

Hyderabad: A 21-year-old third-year MBBS student from Telangana, died in a road accident in the early hours of Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Can Tho City, Vietnam.

The victim, Arshid Ashrith, was studying medicine in Vietnam. He was the son of cloth merchants Arshid Arjun and Pratimah from Kagaznagar town in Telangana.

According to reports, he was riding a motorcycle at high speed with a friend when he lost control and crashed into a house wall. Ashrith died on the spot, while his friend sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment.

The tragic news has left his family and community in deep shock. His parents were devastated upon receiving the information. Arrangements are being made to repatriate his body to India.
