Telangana Speaker to hear MLA disqualification petitions Sept 29, Oct 1

HYDERABAD: Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar has finalised the hearing schedule for disqualification petitions filed against several MLAs under the Tenth Schedule.

Petitioners include Kalvakuntla Sanjay and Chinta Prabhakar

The hearings will be held on September 29 and October 1 in Hyderabad. Petitioners include Kalvakuntla Sanjay, Chinta Prabhakar and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy. The respondents are T Prakash Goud, Kale Yadaiah, Gudem Mahipal Reddy and Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy.

According to the Assembly Secretariat, the Speaker will hear cross-examinations from both sides during the two-day proceedings. The tribunal under the Tenth Schedule has listed separate time slots for each case.

“The Speaker will hear arguments from both petitioners and respondents in detail,” an official note stated.
