Telangana opens e-Pass portal for 2025-26 scholarship registrations for students, colleges

Hyderabad:  The Government of Telangana has announced the opening of the e-Pass (Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarships) portal for registration of colleges and students seeking Post-Matric Scholarships for the academic year 2025-26. Registrations will be open from July 1 to September 30, 2025, through the official website: http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in.

Post-Matric Scholarships are extended to students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), Minorities, and Physically Challenged categories. The scheme is aimed at supporting eligible students in pursuing higher education.

To streamline the process and ensure transparency, the government has mandated online registration through the e-Pass portal. Both college authorities and students must register and upload the required data within the specified period for the processing of fresh and renewal scholarship applications.

Regulatory authorities and college managements have been instructed to ensure timely registration. Welfare departments have also been urged to create awareness and ensure that all eligible institutions and students complete the process by the September 30 deadline.
