Tension grips Hyderabad as meat found inside Tappachabutra temple

On Wednesday, a piece of meat was found near the Shiva Lingam in the Hanuman temple in Hyderabad's Tappachabutra locality, causing tension among the locals. After the discovery, the temple priest alerted the committee members who, in turn, informed the police. The incident attracted a large crowd of people, including BJP workers and right-wing activists, who staged a dharna demanding a thorough investigation and strict action against the offenders. The police, under DCP Chandra Mohan, have initiated an investigation, suspecting that an animal might have brought the meat inside. They are examining CCTV footage for further details.
