According to the ACB press release, Krishna (AO-1) demanded and accepted the bribe amount through Gattu Ramesh (AO-2), a private individual, from a complainant. The money was allegedly sought to complete the mutation process of agricultural land in Survey No.172 of Gundrampalli village and to submit a detailed survey report of land in Survey No.167 to the Sub-Inspector of Chityal police station. Both survey numbers pertain to land owned by M/s Ratna Housing and Estates Private Limited.

The ACB said the bribe money was recovered from Ramesh’s possession at his instance. Officials stated that Krishna had performed his duty “improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage.”

Both accused were arrested and produced before the I Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases at Nampally, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation.

The Bureau urged citizens to report any demand for bribes to the toll-free number 1064 or through WhatsApp at 9440446106. It also noted that complainants’ identities would be kept confidential.
