St. Francis College, Begumpet teams up with PRSI to boost industry exposure for students

Hyderabad: St. Francis College for Women, Begumpet, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Hyderabad Chapter to provide students with hands-on learning and industry exposure. The MoU, signed on June 30, 2025, aims to offer practical experience to students pursuing degrees in media, communication, and public relations.

Prof. T. Uma Joseph, Principal of St. Francis College for Women, highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating, "Our goal is to prepare students for the professional world. This collaboration offers them valuable industry exposure in the fields of media and public relations."

Dr. K. Yadagiri, General Secretary of PRSI Hyderabad Chapter, praised the college for taking the initiative to partner with PRSI, which will help nurture the next generation of communication professionals.

The MoU was signed by Prof. T. Uma Joseph and Dr. K. Yadagiri in the presence of senior members, including Y. Babji, Krishna Baji, Dr. Fathima Raheem (Executive Member), K. Ravi Kumar (HOD), P. Clement Babu, and T. Suzan Spurthi, faculty members from the Department of Mass Communication & Journalism, St. Francis College for Women. The collaboration is set to roll out a series of student-focused initiatives starting in the academic year 2025-2026.
