Musi riverfront row: Singapore firm sends legal notice to BRS leader

Hyderabad: Singapore-based Meinhardt Group has sent notices to the BR's leader Manne Krishank for leveling false allegations against the infrastructure services company in connection with awarding a consultancy project related to Musi riverfront development.

The notice demands that Krishank stop making defamatory comments about the Singapore firm, withdraw and delete his statements from social media platforms within 24 hours, and issue a written public apology to the company. It also insisted on the removal of defamatory content from all social media platforms, including X and news websites.

Resharing the tweet carrying the legal notice issued by the Singapore firm, Krishank posted on X saying Pakistan had issued a red warrant against Meinhardt in connection with the Rs. 3,000 cr money laundering case. Even the Airport Authority of India (AAI) had debarred the infrastructure firm taking up their contracts.

BRS sticks to its Questions & will not fear Legal Notices or Police Cases by CM Revanth or Musi Contractor Singapore Company,” Krishank tweeted on Sunday. In a following tweet, he said the BRS Legal Cell will reply to the legal notices of the foreign firm.

Earlier this year, Meinhardt Group denied allegations against it related to the Creek Marina project in Pakistan. It said the firm was only a sponsor and consultant for the project’s development and was not involved in the operations of Creek Marina Private Ltd (CMPL).
