Siddipet hit and run: Two cops killed near Hyderabad after collision with unidentified vehicle

Hyderabad: Two Telangana police constables were killed after an unidentified vehicle rammed their motorcycle in the early hours of Sunday. The hit-and-run accident occurred on the Gajwel bypass road at Jaligama, Siddipet district.

The deceased police personnel have been identified as Pusa Venkateshwarlu (42) and Parandamulu (43). At the time of the accident, they were heading to ECIL in Hyderabad to participate in a marathon.

They were critically injured in the road mishap and died on the spot. The police rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Gajwel for conducting a postmortem. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
