Fire & explosion at Seegachi Chemical Factory in Sangareddy leaves multiple workers injured

Hyderabad: A major fire broke out at the Seegachi chemical factory in the Pashamailaram Industrial Area, Sangareddy district, following a reactor explosion that has reportedly killed 10 people.

According to reports, the blast caused workers to be thrown nearly 100 meters from the site. Flames continue to engulf the factory, trapping several workers inside.

Fourteen workers have sustained serious injuries. Firefighters have reached the scene and are actively working to control the blaze and carry out rescue operations.

Multiple fire engines and ambulances are on-site. Authorities caution that the death toll may rise as efforts to contain the fire continue. Further details are awaited.
