Heavy water leakage in Secunderabad’s Mahendra Hills after air valve breaks
Hyderabad: Residents of Trimurthi Colony in Mahendra Hills, Secunderabad (Ward-5) reported a major water leakage on Road No. 3 after an air valve broke on Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025. The issue led to heavy water wastage on the streets, prompting immediate concern among locals.
Residents alerted Telukunta Arunjothi Satish Gupta, a contestant for SCB Ward-5 Board Member, requesting urgent action. “Dear Satish, the air valve is broken at Road No. 3, Mahendra Hills, Trimurthi Colony, Ward-5. Kindly stop the water supply immediately and arrange for the necessary repairs. Otherwise, a huge quantity of water will be wasted on the roads,” one resident wrote. Another resident simply said, “Heavy water leakage.”
Responding to the complaints, Telukunta Arunjothi Satish Gupta, the contestant for SCB Ward-5 Board Member said, “Spoke to concerned authorities. Repairs will be carried out shortly.” While the repair work has not yet begun, residents expressed relief that action will be taken to stop the water wastage.
