Construction on open ground opposite Kendriya Vidyalaya sparks parking concerns in Bolarum
Hyderabad: The Federation of North Eastern Colonies of Secunderabad (FNECS) has raised concerns over ongoing construction by Local Military Authorities on an open ground opposite Kendriya Vidyalaya Bolarum.
The Federation says the construction work, which involves building a large permanent structure, began without prior notice or consultation with local residents or road users.
According to the Federation of North Eastern Colonies of Secunderabad (FNECS), the ground is currently used for parking school buses, trucks, autorickshaws, and tempos. They warn that if this area is built over, these vehicles will be forced to park on Generals Road, the narrow stretch connecting Yapral to Kendriya Vidyalaya Bolarum.
With limited space already, the Federation of North Eastern Colonies of Secunderabad (FNECS) fears that additional parking on the road will lead to traffic congestion, especially during school hours.
The Federation of North Eastern Colonies of Secunderabad (FNECS) stated that no public announcement was made before the construction began and no discussions were held with residents or users of the affected road. They have urged the Local Military Authorities to halt construction and allow vehicle parking on the ground to continue, citing the potential for severe daily traffic disruptions.
